Next Big Futures’ Solar System simulator 2.0 has been released and is available for download.
The game has been designed with an immersive, 3D environment, and it’s based on the same planet that’s shown in the movie, The Martian, but has been improved for 3D rendering and lighting.
It also features more planets to explore, including the Sun and the Moon, and more detailed weather effects.
The first version of Solar System Simulator 2.1 also includes new terrain generation and terrain editing tools, so that users can easily create a new planet, an asteroid or an asteroid-like object.
If you’d like to take your Solar System sim to the next level, we suggest checking out our upcoming release, Solar System: 3D Simulant, available today.
In the meantime, if you’d prefer to experience the game on your computer, we’ve also released the free Solar System 1.2, which is based on The Martian movie and is the most detailed, detailed version of the game so far.
